When are LED tree lights best?
LED lights are popular on Christmas trees due to their low wattage, long life, and cool to the touch lamps. The Aspen Fir is available in clear incandescent mini lights or warm white 5mm LED lights. Both lights are UL Listed, and Red Sleigh uses only Wintergreen Lighting ENERGY STAR rated LED light strings. Many clients are choosing LED trees due to the power savings they offer - a 9' tree required only 1.05 Amps compared to its incandescent counterpart at 4.64 Amps. LED bulbs can last up to 100,000 hours, and offer the same assurance that if one light goes out, the rest stay lit. LED bulbs are fused to the wires for connectivity. Cool to the touch LEDs offer increased savings, durability, and safety, while casting soft white light with Kelvin temperatures suitable for interior home lighting.
How durable is the Aspen Fir?
Red Sleigh trees include a ten year warranty on frame and construction, and a three year warranty on lights. Each tree includes a sturdy metal base designed specifically for the width and height of the tree. Incandescent trees include light testers and extra bulbs and fuses. Tips are constructed using PVC for a dense interior and to offer strong ornament hanging branches. Branches are hinged to a metal trunk and fold down and up for setup and storage.
