Atlanta, Ga, June 1, 2016 -- Wintergreen Corporation recently broke ground on a new warehouse and office expansion project that will provide the company with a 100,000+ sq. ft. facility. The project coincides with Wintergreen's successful growth and the building expansion will provide the company with even more space to continue its industry-leading fulfillment capabilities to both wholesale and retail customers year round.

"We take pride in our 99.9% shipping accuracy rate," says Bill Moch, Wintergreen's Warehouse Manager. "We ship tens of thousands of packages annually and our goal is to do it as efficiently and accurately as possible. Improving our space needs helps us handle the company's growth at scale."

Wintergreen's fulfillment operations handle everything from small packages from online retail orders to very large full container freight shipments that house Wintergreen's line of giant commercial Christmas trees, which can be over 80 ft. tall and require multiple freight containers. The new warehouse expansion will better accommodate Wintergreen's vast diversity of products.

"When you maintain over 5,000 products being able to store them and move them in an organized manner is a strategic advantage," says Chris Miller, CFO of Wintergreen Corp. "Between the warehouse expansion and our new office expansion we are preparing the company's infrastructure to accommodate growth at scale so we continue to serve our customers as effectively as possible."

Coinciding with the expanded warehouse will be a brand new corporate headquarters office and new showroom. The new showroom is generally used for Wintergreen's wholesale customers but it is also open to the general public during the holidays. The new office space is planned to accommodate the growing family of Wintergreen employees, expand the company's product testing lab and provide a better space to showcase the latest decorative lighting products as well as Wintergreen's latest lighting technology.

The expansion project will be ongoing from June 2016 through June of 2017.
