Atlanta, Ga, November 4, 2016 -- Wintergreen Corporation is proud to announce the addition of several GKI/Bethlehem Lights (GKI) senior sales representatives as well as GKI's national showroom manager. The move reinforces Wintergreen's commitment to innovating in the Christmas lighting and commercial giant Christmas tree market and bringing on GKI industry veterans to help further the legacy of innovation that made GKI a leader in the Christmas world for decades.

"When GKI officially closed its doors earlier in 2016 it sent shockwaves through the industry," says William Hale, CEO of Wintergreen Corp. "GKI was well known and well regarded and we felt it was a good fit to have a number of GKI veterans come on board with us. We're glad they're on the team and we look forward to continuing that level of innovation and service they helped build for decades with GKI."

Joining Wintergreen are industry veteran sales executives Jerry Lea, Denise Sanford and Genevieve Diehl. Additionally, Kristie Nelson, GKI's award-winning showroom manager, has also joined the Wintergreen team.

While the Wintergreen product line is several times larger than that of GKIs, there are a lot of similarities in lighting and lit decor. Likewise, Wintergreen has one of the largest selections of giant commercial Christmas trees in the industry, including nationally recognized trees seen by millions annually. Wintergreen's commercial decorator and installer customers will now benefit from even more expertise brought by the expanded account team.
